Surah Al-Kafiroon Explanation

Surah Al-Kafiroon Chapter:109 Verse 1 Explanation

Although those people were badly trapped in disbelief and polytheism, they did not call themselves infidels, nor did they like to be called infidels . The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is being ordered to address him or Iha al-Kafrun hereÛ” As if he announced that I have no fear of you . There is no honor and respect for you in my heart, nor do I allow you to use any word that even creates this kind of suspicion in view of any interference .

According to me, you are a disbeliever and I am addressing you with the same word . Also, by saying Kaafrun, he pointed to the fact that I have no personal enmity with you . The reason for my and your actions is not that there is a conflict between my and your worldly interests . I have cut ties with you only because you have made disbelief your motto . If you abandon disbelief and accept faith, then my enmity and yours will turn into love and brotherhood . I will hug you to my chest and we will all unite and agree under the flag of monotheism .

Surah Al-Kafiroon Chapter:109 Verse 2 Explanation

The translation of these verses is clear . Apparently there is repetition in them, but in fact it is not, the first two verses are related to the future and the last two verses are related to the past . He said bluntly that I have never worshiped your false gods in the past, nor can you expect it from me in the future . You want me to worship your gods for one year and worship my true Lord for one year .

Open your ears and listen, one year is a long time, I will not worship these false gods of yours even for a moment . My head will be bowed down, only before my Lord, who is one and the other, my eternal need will be prostrated, so only in the holy court of His Lord, who is the creator of everything in the universe and also the owner, I was born now .

He has done it, He has also given me the status of Prophethood and Prophethood . I cannot imagine for a moment that I should make someone other than me my god and messenger, the disbelievers will be disappointed forever that the Muslims will not accept their disbelief even for a moment . He also told about them that they will never be Muslims .

Surah Al-Kafiroon Chapter:109 Verse 3 Explanation

From Al-Kafrun, because those who were not lucky enough to believe are meant to count, he addressed them and said, “You will never worship the life and time I worship . You are so biased in disbelief that you have spread all the lamps of contemplation . You have made the forces of intellect and understanding barren.

Surah Al-Kafiroon Chapter:109 Verse 4 Explanation

Zamakhshri says that it is related to the past that till date I have not worshiped any false god in front of whom you keep rubbing your foreheads and rubbing your nose . Before the declaration of prophethood, when my foot has been free from every aspect of disbelief and polytheism, now that I have declared my prophethood and my Lord has made my chest bright and bright with the light of prophethood, doubt and doubt. Even the doubt did not remain . At that time, if you expect shirk from me, there is no one else in the world who is more stupid than you .

Surah Al-Kafiroon Chapter:109 Verse 5 Explanation

The leaders of Quraish have been informed that if you have been suffering from this fallacy and have been worshiping the same god in the past that I have been worshiping, then this is just your imagination . There is no possibility of worshiping my God with polytheism, as it is clear above, and you have never been cleansed from polytheism, so I have never become your religious brother, nor have you become my religious brother, so how do you expect this ? You will be able to make me your religious brother, covered in your filth ! .

The Prophets (peace be upon them) were on good nature even before the Prophet’s mission, and since monotheism is the religion of nature, they never engaged in shirk against nature . At the same time, they must have worshiped their Lord in one form or another, even though they adopted that method with their ijtihad or derived it from the previous traditions of religion . Our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to worship even before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) .

Although its method is not clearly in front of us, it is known that it was based on Hanifaism, whose tradition was going on in one form or another since the time of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) . Your relationship with the worship of Allah Ta’ala was not limited to the past, but just as you worshiped your Lord in the past, you were still worshiping Him in the present . It means that you should not become the worshipers of this God even in the past whom I have worshiped in the past and are still steadfast on him .

Surah Al-Kafiroon Chapter:109 Verse 6 Explanation

When there is no cooperation between my religion and your religion in the past, nor in the present, then in the future you somehow expect that we will be able to gather at a single point . For this reason, the expectation of compromise is completely futile . For me is my religion and for you is your religion . I work on my method and you work on your own method and see if my words prove to be true or yours .

This is what is said in Surah Inam as follows: (Say, O people of my people, you should work in your place، I work in my place) The same words have been quoted from other messengers in Surah Hud verse 93 and Surah Zimar verse 39 and the purpose is only to close the door of the argument that the opponents were making with the aim that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) should also accept his position .

With this announcement, you have given them the final awareness that you are neither ready to deviate from your religion at all, nor are you willing to accept any place for their religion . The repetition of the declaration of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) is generally taken by the people in the sense of tolerance, although it is disgusted with the attitude of the infidels, but in terms of the end, it is in the sense of eternal paradox and declaration of war on them .

In short words, this is the same declaration that Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) made before his people, which the Qur’an refers to in these words: The best example in the life of Abraham and his companions . Remember when they said to their people, “We are completely evil to you and to those things that you worship besides Allah. We have denied your faith and enmity and hatred has been revealed between us and you forever.” So that you believe in Allah alone .

This good deed of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and his companions was placed in front of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions (may Allah be pleased with him) so that a similar declaration of innocence was made by him (peace be upon him).) And the Companions (RA) of you (PBUH) should do it to your people .

By the way, following this, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “So how can there be room for tolerance in it . One of the great disadvantages of not observing the context and lessons of the speech is that people are unable to discriminate even in the word of disgust and tolerance .
