Surah Al-Humaza Chapter:104 Translation
- It is a great fault of a person who blames others behind his back, (and) is used to taunting his mouth.
- He who has collected wealth, and keeps counting it.
- He thinks that his wealth will keep him alive forever.
- No way ! It will be thrown into a place that is going to steal.
- And do you know what that sawdust thing is ?
- God’s burning fire.
- Which will reach the hearts.
- Believe me, it will be closed on them.
- While they will be (surrounded) in (up to) long and wide pillars of fire.
Surah Al-Humaza Explanation
Chapter:104 Verse 1 Explanation
In the Arabic language, humz and limz are so close to each other in terms of meaning that sometimes both are used in the same sense . And sometimes there is a difference between the two . But such a difference that some of the people of the language themselves explain the meaning of hums . Some other people describe the same meaning . And on the contrary, the meaning of Limz that some people explain . They mean hums to other people . Here since both words come together .
Therefore, both of them together give the meaning that this person’s habit has become that he despises and humiliates others . Seeing someone, he raises his fingers and gestures with his eyes . Slanders someone’s lineage . Removes insects in someone’s self . He hurts someone face to face . He does bad things behind someone’s back . Somewhere he fights his friends by eating jokes and sometimes he creates a split among his brothers . Has bad names of people . And he blames them .
Chapter:104 Verse 2 Explanation
It has a habit of taunting other people because it is very rich and rich. That is why he has started to consider himself a big man. And other people look down on. But despite being rich, he is very stingy. Counting the gun and handling it very carefully. He does not have the courage to spend even one dirham.
Chapter:104 Verse 3 Explanation
He is under the misconception that if his wealth remains with him, the angel of death will not come close to him. With the same wealth it will live forever. Some scholars have explained this meaning that this wealth will remain with him forever. will never perish. will never end.
Chapter:104 Verse 4 Explanation
While mentioning the throwing of humanity into hell, he used a word that is pointing to the humiliation and humiliation of this meaning as well as paying it. That is, today he considers himself a great noble and chief. The importance it has in society. Due to the abundance of wealth, its fear is sitting on people’s hearts.
That’s why it’s starting to consider itself a big thing. But in the eyes of God, it is more despicable than a torn old shoe. (Hatma) is from Hatim. Its literal meaning is to break, to grind, to crumble. This is the name of a class of hell. The fire of which will be so strong that what will be thrown into it, will immediately grind it.
Chapter:104 Verse 5 Explanation
This question is to describe its horror. That is, you cannot know how scary it is. That is, very destructive۔ What will be put in it will be vandalized. Rather, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ”Indeed, I saw Hell, its parts were breaking each other.“
Chapter:104 Verse 6 Explanation
Attributing fire to Allah at this point not only expresses its horror. Rather, it is also known that Allah looks at those who are proud and arrogant after getting the wealth of the world with great hatred and anger. Due to which he has called this fire especially his own fire. In which they will be thrown .
Surah Al-Humaza Chapter:104 Verse 7 Explanation
One of the meanings of this fire reaching the hearts is that this fire will reach the place which is the center of human bad thoughts, corrupt beliefs, impure desires and emotions, evil intentions and intentions . The second meaning is that the fire of Allah will not be as blind as the fire of the world to burn all the deserving and undeserving, but it will reach the heart of each criminal and find out the nature of his crime and everyone will be punished according to his privilege .
Surah Al-Humaza Chapter:104 Verse 8 Explanation
When the windows of a door are closed and locked and there is no apparent case of their reopening . These people will be put in ruins . Its doors will be closed very tightly, no one will be able to open them, nor will there be any way for them to leave this punishment.
Surah Al-Humaza Chapter:104 Verse 9 Explanation
The gates of hell will be closed and high pillars will be built on them . The second meaning is that these criminals will be tied with high pillars . The third meaning is that Ibn Abbas has stated that the flames of this fire must be rising in the form of tall pillars . The flames of fire in hell will be in the form of tall pillars, and they will surround the inmates of hell from all sides in such a way that the way out will be closed.
